New Genesis Model
Limited-Time Trade-In Program
Trade in your old PlasmaCAM machine for a new Genesis® model! This offer is currently available only in Arizona, to help us keep up with orders and plan production for other locations. Take advantage of this limited opportunity now, while you can!
Why Trade In Your Old Machine?
Because it’s a nearly 30-year-old, obsolete design, with support and parts nearing end-of-life. (From motors to parallel port, your machine uses the same technology as the original 1998 model that was last refined in 2006.) The all-new Genesis model reflects decades of further engineering progress, real-world experience, and customer feedback. And with DesignEdge® software, there’s no learning curve for you to move forward.
- Get rid of your parallel port and its communication problems. The new wireless connection is more reliable, and you can even run the machine with a laptop.
- Cut much faster with higher accuracy. Besides improving productivity, higher cut speeds keep material from warping, reduce dross and cleanup, and can even improve cut quality.
- Gain up to 6 inches of height clearance, with a fast Z-axis servo motor and better machine torch holder.
- Easily load material from the sides without rails in the way.
- See an extensive list of improvements.
- This is your chance to trade in for a larger model. Available sizes are 2×2, 4×4, 4×8 and 5×10 feet.
What Genesis Owners Are Saying
(after nearly two years of use on the field)
Just get one. They are better in every way. The cut quality is amazing. The wireless is nice. The table is very stout. The new Z-axis works great. I put a router on mine and that was great too. Very pleased with the software especially since my old machine is a 98Z! With my laptop I can walk it over to my office desk and program there…
– Nils Rittweger
It is an amazing machine. The transition speed from cut path to cut path is blazing fast. It is solid, stable and without any deflection… Design Edge is pretty much seamless from the DHC2. So nothing to worry about… The wireless connection is an important upgrade, no more cables tethering computer to table. I have had zero issues with connecting and staying connected… You will notice when jogging (via keyboard/mouse) it is quick to respond. I do have my x/y set at 800 ipm and z at 700 ipm. I could set the speed lower, but why? The servos generate very little heat when operating… Loading and unloading the table is definitely better… I would recommend this table to anyone getting into CNC. Design edge is easy to learn, coupled with the CAM in a single software, really cutting edge… Great job plasmacam.

I am glad that PlasmaCam has come out with a 21st Century version of their table, and ditched things like the parallel cable, the rattling Z motor and the functional but oh-so-clunky pipe cutter they originally designed. These are all GREAT improvements that will move PlasmaCam back to the top of home and small independent shop cnc plasma table conversations. I LIKE ditching the side rails for easier side loading, and no need to reach over the rails to grab items from the sides… I like the flat edge frame for clamping material down. The new engraver looks really well designed. The rolling pipe cutter is interesting…

How To Trade In Your Old Machine
When you trade in your machine, you receive the credit shown in the table for your model that applies toward a Genesis machine purchase of the same size or larger. Software credits apply toward the purchase of equivalent options and extra seat licenses.
To trade in your machine, just ship it back to us in any condition (parts on a pallet, etc), without the cutting grate. If this is impractical, you can ship us the serial # sticker, controller, and all other yellow components with motors and wiring harnesses, along with proof that all the other painted parts were scrapped and destroyed. (We can’t provide trade-in credits to customers who keep or resell some of the parts.)
If you want to get and start using your new machine first, you can pay the full price and we will send you a refund as soon as we receive your old machine.
Financing is available for trade-ins. Call today or start your order online!

Video Demonstation
This video shows the new Genesis model cutting the entire “Thirsty Horses” scene from Marshall’s High Impact Truck Racks Art Disc at full size and actual speed of 500 inches per minute, with no warping of the finished piece. A new feature eliminates torch delay between cuts (whereas older models must wait a second for the torch to fire after moving to each pierce position).
